Hello! My name is Iwan and I’ve been working for Tantrwm for some years now.
It’s hard to believe that that child, who was singing a song about work safety for children, is now taking care of social media and website content for a variety of different companies, ranging from a brewery to a flooring suppliers. As well as social media content, I also help out with video productions and live streaming events.
Since being a child, I have provided voice overs and have acted in front of the camera for several of Tantrwm’s short films. I’d rather not show you any of these videos but my biscuit ration may be cut if I don’t include one!
I’m 19 years old now but as you can see from the video, I was much younger then. In fact, it was filmed only a few years after I’d become a member of the Colstars Theatre Company, an amateur dramatics group in Aberdare. I’m still a part of the company now, and recently played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. Not quite as cute, and slightly more “beardy” these days!
In August, I’ll be finishing my work with Tantrwm as I have recently been offered a place at RADA in London to study acting for 3 years (Yes, I know, that little boy in the video has managed to get into an acting school!).
I owe a lot to Tantrwm for all the experience I’ve gained working for them, not just from being behind and in front of the camera but also in the business world. I believe all of this has helped me become the person I am today. So, whoever works for Tantrwm after me, they’re in for a great time (I swear they didn’t give me money to write that last bit).
