Promotional videos for your organisation

tantrwm video production camera set equipment promotional video
Promotional videos bring key messages about your organisation to a huge audience. This particular promotional video project found us venturing to outdoor educational centre, Storey Arms.....filming in a flooded, pitch black cave! One of our experienced freelance camera men arrived nice and early to make this exciting promotional video. His location for the day was in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, where he was immediately handed waterproof clothing, boots and a safety helmet before starting out to film the first of the day's activities. The purpose of the project was to capture a variety of fun outdoor, educational activities that the centre has to offer in a film running less than 5 minutes, plus a condensed version of approximately 1 minute. The first stop...

Wales’ Euro 2016 send-off charity dinner

tantrwm Welsh Translation Video Production Cymraeg Fideowales
A few months ago, Tantrwm was very lucky to have the opportunity to film the Wales Football Association's Euro 2016 send-off dinner. The event took place at The Vale Hotel in Cardiff and all of Welsh football's biggest stars were there including Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Ashley Williams. Tantrwm and Orchard Entertainment spent the majority of the day prepping for the event, which included a performance from the Manic Street Preachers, and getting everything sorted before the players and coaches arrived. The charity event was a final farewell to our boys before they travelled to France in preparation for the Euro's. Little did we know that they'd come back as national heroes, changing Welsh football forever. It was great to be part of what now...

The Big Friendly Read…with photography!

WREXHAM CC BIG FRIENDLY READ PHOTOGRAPHY GLYNNEATH LIBRARY JANE PURDIE AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT
We love a fun photography project! So when Jane Purdie of the Welsh Libraries Audience Development Team asked to use our photography skills at the launch of The Big Friendly Read (#TheSummerReadingChallenge), we "snapped up" the opportunity! We love encouraging all types of learning here at Tantrwm and think The Big Friendly Read is a great way to get children enthusiastic about reading. Its also a great way for people to help celebrate 100 years of the world’s favourite storyteller Roald Dahl! With the room full of eagerly awaiting children (and adults!) at Glynneath Library, we got to work with our photography skills by taking shots of poet and author, Mike Church, who had the audience captivated with lots of fun and games. Kirsty Williams...

Last night a DJ Saved my life

n
Tantrwm are incredibly lucky to work with a variety of different people in various industries, big and small. This DJ project was completely different to anything we'd done before. We were approached by local DJ, Martyn Bird, who wanted a website for his disco hire business, Obsession Entertainment, that would clearly show what he had to offer for people looking to put on an event that their guests would remember forever. Obsession Entertainment not only provides DJ services but also transforms the plainest of venues with clever, exciting eye-catching lighting, flooring to create a separate dance space, and other large scale decorations that make weddings and parties stand out from the rest with a real wow-factor. Tantrwm had first hand experience of the brilliant work Martyn...

Lights, Camera, Action! Meet Iwan!

Iwan
Hello! My name is Iwan and I've been working for Tantrwm for some years now. It's hard to believe that that child, who was singing a song about work safety for children, is now taking care of social media and website content for a variety of different companies, ranging from a brewery to a flooring suppliers. As well as social media content, I also help out with video productions and live streaming events. Since being a child, I have provided voice overs and have acted in front of the camera for several of Tantrwm's short films. I'd rather not show you any of these videos but my biscuit ration may be cut if I don't include one! A guide to employment law for children from Tantrwm...

For a relatively small office, there's always a lot of exciting and awesome things happening at the Tantrwm Office. Often, days the office can be brimming with the latest tech, tripods, cameras. You name it, it's probably out and ready to use for a live streaming session or video production. Some days are bustling with people coming in and out of the office for project briefing meetings and friendly chats. Typically, these are the days that the tea bags start disappearing, the coffee pot is constantly on the go and the biscuit packets get emptier and emptier. Other days, the crew are out providing creative video solutions around the country and this is when the office can seem eerily quiet, with just the tap of the...
